Dan Gibson
The new Hanlon Creek transit line is projected to cost $926,720/year with a projected annual revenue of only $16,306.  The NET cost to the city to provide this service therefore will be $910,414/year.  In my estimation that equates to 98.2% tax payer subsidy to provide this new line.  If our modul splits are maintained we are projecting approximately 16 trips per day.

Could staff please help me understand the % increase the $910,414 would have on the current increase of 3.08%.

Thank you.
