Why is a $100,000 decrease in advertising revenues projected?
The change in advertising in bus stops has prompted a number of complaints from residents due to obstructed sight lines.  I'd like to ensure we don't have a problematic approach with lower revenues.

In future, can user fees be broken down to separate revenue from riders, charters and advertising?

The complaints from residents due to obstructed sight lines is not associated with the projected decrease in advertising revenues. In late 2018 (after the 2019 operating budget had been submitted), Guelph Transit issued a tender for advertising services which came in under budget by approximately 100,000. This revenue decrease is to account for this decrease in contracted advertising revenue.
